Rebates and Feed in Tariff Solar
What are Solar Rebates?
What are Government Incentive?
Government Rebates relates to the solar scheme, during which the federal government of Australia pays you upfront for the system’s expected
power generation up to the year 2030.
Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs)
RECs also play a part in boosting the amount of renewable energy produced by electricity generators and retailers to meet their required targets under the RET.

How does this Work?
Suntek Energy will then generate LGCs on your behalf – one megawatt-hour of electricity corresponds to one LGC. LGCs are accounted for on an annual basis when they are sold to ‘Liable Entities’ by Suntek Energy, with their value then transferred back to you. This is what gives you the extra income on top of the electricity value generated by your Solar system. While the price of STCs has been inconsistent, LGCs have enjoyed a very stable value over time, making them a great investment.
Feed in Tariffs
What is feed in tariff
How it works
If you live in South East Queensland, you may get a market feed-in tariff directly from your electricity retailer. There is no mandated rate for electricity exported to the grid so electricity retailers offer competitive, market-based tariff rates. This means you should shop around for the best deal.

Dhyani did a great job followed up during and after the process and the installers did a great job as well.
We recently had a solar system installed and can't fault the process. Dhyani was friendly, knowledgeable and not pushy. Her follow up has been fantastic and we are very happy we went through Suntek. The system is yet to be switched on but I feel confident that if we had any issues Dhyani and Suntek would assist. Overall a great experience!
Suntek Energy is highly organised and very professional. I was referred by a friend who owns a business and recently had solar panels installed. He highly recommended Suntek Energy.
We have been most impressed with the excellent, professional and responsive service provided via Dhyani at Suntek Energy, who was being recommended to us by Solar Quotes.
Suntek energy was great. Everything they promised was completed on time and had no issues. Dealt with Dhyani and she has been incredibly helpful before and after installation. We couldn't be happier.
